Recovery cotton sounds like the kind of thing you should be wearing when you’re curled up on the sofa after a hard day (or night). It could be, but there’s a bit more to it. These are fabric offcuts and scraps from the cutting, spinning and weaving process that would otherwise be thrown away but are spun into new fabric. It’s good stuff, why waste it? The Hampy Pants mix this revived cotton with linen, another sustainable fibre, to make a material that is flowy and pillow-soft. Linen also has loads of amazing properties: it’s strong, absorbent and dries quickly and is thermo-regulating. If you’ve ever wondered why people wear a lot of linen in the summer – this is why. It’s great in the heat. The Hampy pants on the other hand, are great basically anytime you want to be comfortable. Which is always?
